Editor Chris Newton has been writing about fishing for most of his angling life and has published many features in the leading game fishing magazine Trout and Salmon, as well as other titles. In 2008, he wrote 'Hugh Falkus – A Life On The Edge', a revealing biography of the angling writer and broadcaster considered the father of modern sea-trout fishing which won glowing accolades from the national press. The same year he co-wrote Golden Game Fair, the story of the first 50 years of the CLA Game Fair, the world’s biggest countryside event. Chris is now working on a book which tells the extraordinary story of the brown trout and its introduction to the rivers and lakes of every continent except Antarctica, due for publication in early 2012.
